I've just started trying to work on Pinterest. As a content based company, it is not as easy as a visually based company to use and exploit. Like a lot of social media, it seems to involve a lot of time, interaction and a lack of discernable results. Certainly there are no quick results to be had. I'd be interested in other people's experiences too. btw, what kind of business are you trying to use pinterest for?

I was a little surprised to see an article on using pinterest for link building the other day. Presumably they had failed to notice that google has progressed to 2013 with the rest of us.

The majority of users on Pinterest are female and not being sexist here but it's really good for fashion and recipes

I think pintersest also a good social media site to promote your business. you can use Instantgram instead of pinterest to promote your business.
