It takes a while before numbers of likers increases.

I would go around liking other business pages. As most people you like tend to follow you back. I also got a lot of people to like one of my business pages by inviting all my personal friends to like it. Their friends eventually liked it too building up likers.

You could try targeting more potential groups of customers you might have such as shops, bars etc. But basically everyone is a potential liker on Facebook.

You could offer customers some kind of discount, say 10% for liking you, as having people add, will get their friends to like you or have a competition for your likers, helping to make your page go viral.

Whats your address I will like you, ours is....

You could also advertise your Facebook page through Tweets on Twitter.

Hi.. Facebook is a very good way to get your name out.. however.. it can give some of your more "slimy" competitors a chance to post negative comments about your company, and depending how cut-throat the line of business your in is, the worse this can be.
And there isn't a way of stopping comments being posted when you post on a fb page.. not that i can find anyway..
so always best to keep an eye on it.. good luck
