I have never used the guy, but OWG seemed in other places to give some useful down to earth advice, and unlike many SEOs (in which sadly I include Earl!) he does not try to shroud what he does in mystery or make it sound bigger than it really is. May be the walk does not live up to the talk. I have often wondered why good SEOs would want to SEO for other people, although some do. For example a guy called David Jen yns of Melbourn SEO is worth listening to.
The more useful snippet in what I said was that all those who want to outsource SEO should at least learn some basics - eg the training with market samurai - so the industry is less able to pull the wool over their eyes.
