Default Duplicate Meta Titles

If you have a section on your site that goes over two pages would this be classed as duplicate meta titles etc ?

They are duplicate meta titles, but not necessarily duplicate content. The more variation you can introduce between the 2 pages, the better.

Look at it as a plus: you can now target twice as many keywords!

No I cant....because of the way my system is set up I can edit meta titles for a category but if that category then goes over two, three pages there is nothing I can do

OK, well it won't cause much of a problem. You might find that only the first page gets indexed.

You could make the text descriptions longer, so that Google has more unique text to chew over on each page.
