Default Welfare payments

Scary figures. Even for a dullard like me and how can anyone on 50k a year be getting ANY sort of benefit...

I would love to know, in fact I probably wouldnt, the total amount the government wastes each year.

Treasury figures show that welfare payments will exceed income tax receipts by almost £25 billion. Normally, income tax receipts comfortably cover the benefits bill.

Now that is scarey for sure .. Not a healthy position is it ..
