Default Poor first impressions

A new member of staff who started today managed to lose the only key to a stockroom within a couple of hours of arriving, so it seems I am now paying her to play 'hunt the key' for the rest of the day.... that is one way to start in my bad books!

The only redeeming bit of news is, I am told, that having had it explained that she must make all delivery drivers sign when goods come in .... she made the postman sign for 'delivering' letters!

Staff.... who would have them!

Bless!

Sounds like a prime contender for being sent to get some stripy paint/elbow grease/a left handed screwdriver!

But wouldn't you be amazed if she went and got it?

It's her first day - she must be nervous. Give her a few days grace.

.......and how long did she spend looking for it? Maybe a keycut is in order to prevent future panics?
