Lol, didn't think mine was anything special.

Just design a jpg in a high quality graphics package like MS Paint(!).

You can do a few bits and pieces via "settings" in the top right.

Different views on twitter backgrounds, most people will only see the little bits along the top and left hand side, so I (badly) designed mine based on that. Only problem is people have different resolution screens...

Really don't think I'm a good one to copy but...

I used 960 x 1,000 (height fairly arbitrary, but big enough so most people wouldn't see it repeating itself 3/4 of way down the screen.

...and I actually used a PNG rather than JPG, think that may have been on John's advice so the text doesn't blur as much.

This is a YouTube video from a designer I follow on Twitter. He did the background for Chesney Hawkes (remember him? )

Errr...your avatar's lovely. I don't really understand the backgrounds, because from what I can tell, people only see the bits around the edges. Eg here's a half screen screen dump of what I see:

Looks good on my PC. Can see the logo on the left and brands on the right.

I assume you will add the web address and other contact details below the logo on the left?

Looks fine in widescreen, but losses the logos on the right and cover your logo on the left in normal screen mode for me.
