Hardly good - amongst a range of other businesses
I owned off licenses - good is 20k - 25k per week. The margins on booze are only say 12-15 11-13 after vat. Wine more, but beer spirits cigs less

Convenience higher but only a small part of turnover typically

Out of that come typically 120 hours at min wage - under management afnd overheads 30 k so even then it is not great. Anything less is a hernia
Supermarkets loss lead booze deals

Oh for sure , as long as you win more than you lose your fine right . All part of the learning curve ..

actually when i moved i came across a handful of the lighters that i had kept unused in the boxes . and they lit first click.. so the product was ok .. just the stupid idea didn`t
